about

During my engagement, there was so much going on in my life, but nonetheless I still considered myself extremely blessed. I sat down and decided to write about it. The song itself discusses a variety of things, the excitement of my upcoming marriage, my thankfulness to God, and lastly, getting the last word on the skeptics, critics, and haters ("They said its not to be, lets burn those bridges down. We're making a mockery, and getting out of this town"). I couldn't resist!

lyrics

VERSE I
Theres hope for me
In a diamond ring
A circle unending, never bending
Stayin’ in place for the world to see

A destiny
I can almost see
Its been three years, and we’ve conquered our fears
And now its almost here

CHORUS
Take another look, cause its just like me to
Wear it all out, on my sleeve cause’
No one else feels home like you
And I know you feel what I feel too

Take another look, ‘cause the clouds are cryin’
When we’re apart, the sunlights dyin’
I don’t know which way to go
But with you here, I’m not alone

VERSE II
Unending love
That’s from God above
I thank Him everyday, ‘cause He showed me the way
That led me up to you, and that’s enough

But He wasn’t done
He had just begun
He put you in my life, to be my wife
And just look what we’ve become

BRIDGE
They said, its not to be
Let’s burn those bridges down
We’re making a mockery
And getting’ out of this town
