"Me, Myself, and I" is all about inner dialogue. For me, it was all about questioning decisions and life choices...had I made the right ones? What would've happened if I had changed my decisions? Ultimately, I came to the conclusion that it didn't matter. I was going to make the best of whatever choices I made, and not worry about "what might have been" anymore.
lyrics
VERSE I
Looking back, from where I’ve come from
Decisions made, in the long run
Have come back to me, its bitter sweet
And I question them, my choices outcome
Am I in the right, or in the wrong
You’ve burdened me, for oh so long
CHORUS
Staring through a window of what might have been
Come to a conclusion by twilight’s end
You figured it out, oh, you figured out, oh
There’s nothing more to say, follow the cliché
Weigh your decisions and past regrets
Ask the question “was it for the best”
You figured it out, oh, you figured out, oh
There’s nothing left to say, make up your mind
VERSE II
Here we are, on a road less traveled
But my questions still, won’t come unraveled
And I can’t help but question, why we’re here
You explain, that I need some time
To spend with me, myself and I
And together we’ll, clear the mind from
BRIDGE
I met you with questions, that I couldn’t just mention
To anyone, or anybody
Questions about me, but now I see clearly
That only I, can answer them
